Spring Fling is a fun day with rides, games, live performances and music, food, friends, and fun!
There is a silent auction with items such as Theme park tickets, summer camps, hotel stays, ski packages, theater tickets and restaurant gift certificates to bid on! To see a full list of items click on the link to the 9th Annual Silent Auction Catalog.
WE NEED: VOLUNTEERS, SPONSORS, ENTERTAINMENT and DONATIONS!!!
Volunteering: Spring Fling depends on volunteers. It would be great for every Maryvale family to contribute in some way. It is easy, fun and a great way to meet the wider Maryvale community. Middle and high school students can receive Student Service Learning Hours at the event! Please look for the form in your child’s Monday folder or click here.
Sponsorships: Sponsors are needed to offset the costs of this event. Anyone – students, parents, teachers, families, and businesses – can become a sponsor. All sponsors will have their name or business listed in the event catalog and website. Carnival ride/game sponsors will also have a sign with your name or business at the sponsored ride/game. Sponsor donations are tax-deductible. If you need a copy of the 501 (c) (3) form please email layungo@yahoo.com.
Auction Donations: We are accepting donations of items for the Silent Auction. Please fill in the information on the next page – the 2013 Donation and Sponsorship Form. We accept donations of items and gift certificates. It can be a gift certificate for a service you are offering – like weeding someone’s garden or washing a car – or a new item that you received as a gift and don’t need but someone might pay for; or it can be an item from your business or place of employment. Entertainment: Are you in a band, are you a performer, magician, comedian, or dancer? Or, do you know someone who is? We are looking for performers to entertain the Spring Fling crowd. Unfortunately, we can’t pay the performers, but we will provide tickets for them to get food and/or beverages. If the performers have CDs, t-shirts, or videos to sell, they are welcome to do so at the event.
Grab Bag items needed: We’ll take your leftover party favors, fast food toys, and other little goodies you don’t need, and use them in our Grab Bags. Just send them in labeled “For PTA Spring Fling”. Thanks!
