Maryvale Spring Fling and Silent Auction

Saturday, May 12, 2012 – Rain or Shine!
12:00pm – 4:30pm (Silent Auction 1:00pm-3:30pm)
Located at 1000 First Street, Rockville, MD 20850.
Silent Auction bidding ends at 3:30 PM. Checkout will begin at approximately 4 PM. Admission is free! There is something for everyone! There will be a lot of carnival games – including “pie-in-the-face”, cake walk, soda bottle ring toss; face painting; inflatables (Moonbounce, slide, obstacle course, etc.), entertainment; food provided by Armand’s Pizza and Carmen’s Italian Ice, free child ID fingerprinting, vendors, and a big silent auction with over 100 items!

MARYVALE GOES TO THE THEATER
The Maryvale PTA is organizing a theater event for Maryvale families. Musical Theater Center (MTC) is performing “Seussical Jr.” with local third-eighth graders. The show is Saturday, January 28, 2012 at 4:00 PM at The Randolph Road Theater (4010 Randolph Road, Silver Spring). MTC has agreed to give Maryvale parents and students a bargain rate of $12.00 per ticket.
If you are interested in joining other Maryvale families for this show, please complete and return the attached flier along with a check made payable to the “Maryvale PTA” by Wednesday, December 7th. Please note that this is not a drop off event.

Maryvale PTA Board meeting August 2nd
The board of the Maryvale PTA will meet August 2nd at 7pm in the Media Center at Maryvale. This meeting will discuss the PTA budget for next school year as well as membership and other programs. All are welcome to attend.
