Pay Your Dues
You may now pay your PTA membership dues online through PayPal!
Just click on the “Donate” icon on the right.
Dues are $10 per individual, and $5 for each additional family member.
When paying your dues through PayPal, an additional $1 donation to cover the PayPal fee would be greatly appreciated.
Single: $10 + $1 Paypal fee (optional, but appreciated)
Couple: $15 + $1 Paypal fee (optional, but appreciated)
VERY IMPORTANT:
Please be sure to fill in the section labeled “Add special instructions to the seller” with:
- your name
- additional family member’s name only if you are paying dues for additional members
- child’s name, grade, and teacher’s name (if known).
Any additional amount will be considered a donation to the PTA.
Deborah Bowe, our PTA Membership Chair, will send your membership card home with your child in September.
If you do not fill in the special instructions section, your payment will be considered a donation to the PTA.

Maryvale PTA Needs You!
The Maryvale PTA is facing a crisis. The PTA Executive Board consists of the: President, Executive Vice President, Vice President of Programs, Vice President of Fundraising, Secretary, Treasurer, 2 MCCPTA Delegates, Volunteer Coordinator, Communications Chair, and the School Principal.
The nominees for next year’s Board are:

We need your help! Please consider volunteering for one of the open positions, or nominating a fellow parent, friend, or grandparent you think could do a good job in that role. Click read more » below to see the position descriptions. PTA members do not need to be parents, they just need to be concerned about our school.
Please contact the current President, Audra Herzog at razog@verizon.net or 301-340-2437, or Exec. VP, Akoss Schuppius at aschuppius@comcast.net, or any of the other current Board Members if you have any questions about the positions. The minimum requirements for filling an open position are monthly attendance at PTA meetings, responsiveness by email/phone to requests from fellow Board members, and probably a minimum of 3 hours of PTA-related activities.

Join us on Tuesday, June 1st from 7 – 8:30 pm
in the Maryvale Media Center for the final PTA Meeting of this school year to:
- Celebrate our accomplishments
- Vote in next year’s PTA Board Members
- Hear presentations on the Parent-Organized 5th Grade Trip to France and the School-wide 5th Grade Philadelphia Trip
- Welcome incoming Kindergarten parents to Maryvale
- Have some yummy snacks and refreshments!
