The PTA will have a board meeting to discuss next year’s budget and programs. Although this is a board meeting, everyone is welcome to attend. 7pm in the school’s Media Center.

Please come out for a HUGE fundraising event for the PTA and Maryvale. The Silver Diner on Rockville Pike is giving us 20% of your total check on Monday March 21 from 5 – 9pm. Plus, they will be giving out free loyalty cards that will link to Maryvale, and everytime you dine Maryvale will get 5% of your total check. It is the fundraiser that keeps giving! This ongoing fundraiser opportunity is huge for the school, so please come out, have a good meal, a good time, and help Maryvale!

In order to remain in good standing with Maryland PTA, all local PTAs must review their bylaws every 3 years. Our bylaws need to be resubmitted to Maryland PTA no later than April 1, 2011.

Proposed changes to the bylaws are included in this document: BoD proposed bylaws amend. 12-22-10

These proposed amendments will be voted on at the General PTA Meeting on February 1, 2011 by the general membership.
